OUR MISSION;

• Working in coordination with the Pilot University Coordination Center Unit and the Bee and Natural Products R&D and Product Development Center, Bee Products (Honey, Pollen, Bee Bread, Propolis, Bee Venom, Royal Jelly, Beeswax),
• To contribute to the sector with scientific activities in the fields of Palynology, Beekeeping and Breeding, Bee Diseases and Pests,
  To support Regional Development and the beekeeping sector with the training we provide,
• Carrying out R&D activities related to beekeeping,
• Our aim is to guide our farmers engaged in beekeeping through R&D studies, to introduce and popularize beekeeping to the local people, and to help them adopt beekeeping as the main source of income.

OUR VISION;

• To ensure that regional beekeeping reaches better levels by meeting with regional beekeepers at certain periods and exchanging ideas,
• To set an example for beekeepers and scientists working in these fields by providing scientifically based production of bees and bee products,
• To guide regional beekeepers by following current beekeeping in the world and in Turkey,
• To expand the horizons of our academic staff who specialize in these fields by coming together with academicians from Turkey and the world who are experts in their fields in platforms such as workshops, symposiums, congresses, seminars and conferences,
• To increase the recognition of our city and university in this regard with beekeeping tourism, which will develop with the establishment of our Beekeeping Complex,
• To provide employment to the region by increasing the number of beekeepers through training to be given to the people of the region.
